He graduated from the Mechanics Department at Sung Kyun Kwan University and worked in the mechanical department of Central International Law Firm by handling patent applications in Korea for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, Mitsubishi Electric Company, Robert Bosch GMBH and N.V.Philips, etc. and prepared written opinions in response to Office Actions. He had worked on the affairs regarding patent application analysis and patent-related disputes in the patent department of Samsung Electronics Co. He also worked in the mechanical department of Nam & Nam International Patent and Law Firm by handling patent applications in Korea for Siemens Aktiengesellshaft , Siemens Corporation, and Applied Materials Corporation, including the preparation of written opinions in response to Office Actions.After that, he worked in Honesty & Patent International Patent and Law Firm for 2 years as its Vice President.
